The publicity tour for the superfight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor It only starts this Tuesday (11). However, preliminary figures released by the international press give an account of the scale of the events leading up to the duel on August 26th. More than 30 thousand tickets have already been sold for the four press conferences that will be held by the two fighters this week.

In the first leg of the tour, the Irishman and the North American will meet at the Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers, an NBA team. They are scheduled to hold a press conference and then face each other for the first time since the superfight was announced. Afterwards, they travel to Canada, where they will hold a new event in Toronto, then return to the United States to meet in New York and, finally, hold a final promotional event in London, at the mythical Wembley Stadium.
In addition to the 30 tickets already sold, Mayweather Promotions, the American boxer's company, announced that the venue initially chosen to host the event in Toronto had to be replaced by a larger one, due to demand from Canadian fans. Showtime, responsible for promoting the duel, speculates that it will break pay-per-view sales records around the world.
