Few athletes have the knowledge of Holly holm in boxing and MMA. World champion in both sports, the North American was not bothered by the duel between the UFC champion Conor McGregor and former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather. Holm, in fact, believes that the Irishman could perform well against “Money”, despite admitting that “Notorious”’s chances are small.

In fact, Holly's discomfort lies with the superfight's critics. For her, the more you know about boxing, the less you complain about the duel between McGregor and Mayweather.
“Whoever is complaining or making fun of this fight doesn’t know anything about boxing. I guarantee it will be a good fight (…) I'm the type of fighter who thinks everyone has a chance. I came from boxing to MMA and thought I could do well. And I think I did well, I arrived in this sport and achieved things. Mayweather is undefeated for a reason, but I believe anything can happen in a fight. Conor has speed and I think a lot of people can't deal with Floyd's speed, but I think McGregor can also deal with the speed of his opponents. I think Conor's style is competitive against Mayweather”, declared the American, in an interview with the program “The MMA Hour”, denying interest in returning to boxing to fight in the same event as the superfight.
“I'm totally dedicated to MMA now. I no longer feel that desire to box, it would be difficult. I told myself I would never fight for money and always for passion and my passion is MMA. So if I came back to boxing to fight in the same event as Floyd vs Conor it would be just for the money, so it would be for the wrong reason. I no longer have that passion for boxing after so many years away from the sport”, he added.
