UFC Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar will switch to telecatch

Former UFC light heavyweight, Bonnar will debut on telechat on July 16, alongside Phil Baroni, another former Ultimate

Retired from MMA since 2014, Stephan bonnar He has already decided what his future will be outside the octagons. A member of the UFC Hall of Fame, the “American Psycho”, as he is known, announced that he is switching to “telecatch”, an exhibition of wrestling matches that combine theatrical staging. His debut will be on July 16th, alongside former Ultimate star Phil Baroni.

Bondar, 40 years old, became famous after starring in a battle against Forrest griffin in the final first edition of the reality show TUF – The Ultimate Fighter, in 2005, when he ended up being defeated on points. In the UFC, he had 14 fights, totaling eight wins and six defeats, the last of which was against Anderson Silva, in 2012, in Rio de Janeiro. After leaving Ultimate, Stephan still fought at Bellator 131 in 2014, but was defeated by Tito Ortiz.
