Amateur boxer, Irishman Tiernan Bradley was one of the athletes recruited by Conor McGregor to help him train for the superfight against Floyd Mayweather, which will take place on August 26th. And the UFC champion seems to have impressed Bradley, who revealed details of the sparring training between the two.

The young Irishman, just 20 years old, national boxing champion six times, as well as winning the British Commonwealth Games, was hired to simulate Mayweather's movement and liked what he saw from McGregor.
“I have a black eye, and I took the hit training with 16-ounce gloves. People talk about his left hand and the power of his punches with 10-ounce gloves. This guy took both my feet off the ground with a right hand while wearing 16oz gloves! This punch came out of nowhere, and it was very fast and strong. I can say that blows like that would knock down boxers, and this one was delivered from the right. I have no doubt that he will maintain the knockout power in boxing that he has already demonstrated with MMA gloves”, commented Bradley, in an interview with the North American website MMA Fighting.
For the Irishman, one detail could be crucial to McGregor's unlikely victory: movement. According to Bradley, the way the UFC champion moves in the ring is different from what boxers are used to and this could cause problems for Mayweather.
“Conor is a great boxer. His movement is different from everyone else's. He is strong, fast and moves lightly, and is great at getting in and out of the opponent's range of action to strike them. He's so quick on his feet that it's hard to adjust the distance. Conor has speed and unpredictability, which is a dangerous combination. I don’t think Mayweather has ever boxed with someone like him,” he assured.
