Hermes França from Ceará is looking to expand his team, which already has five affiliated academies. To this end, the first own gym will be opened this Saturday, December 1st, in West Palm Beach, in the American state of Florida.
The inauguration will feature big names from the world of fighting, such as Marcelinho Garcia and Pablo Popovitch, who are also training companions of the UFC fighter, who will only return to the octagon from July 2008, when his doping suspension ends.
“I set up my space inside the Palm Beach Boxing Center gym, which combined the useful with the pleasant, because my center will be with MMA professionals and then I would combine it with the gym's boxing. I'm walking step by step, wanting to launch my own name. The ultimate goal is to have an A-level training center, receiving high-level athletes and promoting an exchange of athletes, leaving nothing to be desired for anyone. We will have BJJ, Grappling, MMA and boxing classes, as well as classes for children with the “Premier Martial Arts” program, said França.
