For weight Megan anderson will have the opportunity to do what no one has done since 2005: win Chris Cyborg. The two fight for the UFC world title at 66 kg. at UFC 214, on July 29, and the Australian guarantees that the Brazilian's name will not scare her.

For Anderson, most of Cyborg's opponents were already intimidated for the fight, as they felt the weight of facing one of the most devastating athletes in MMA history. Megan guarantees that she will not make the same mistake and intends to prove that Cris is “human”.
“She is human, like everyone else. I think that many fighters who faced her fought against the name “Cyborg”, and that is why they were already defeated before entering the cage. I don't care how many followers she has, nor how big she is. She is a human being, and I have no doubt that, on July 29th, everyone who doubts me will discover how human she can be”, commented Anderson in an interview with the “Fight Society” podcast.
The fight between Cyborg and Anderson was marked by several controversies. The former featherweight champion, Germaine DeRandamie, he should defend his belt in front of Cris. The Dutch, however, refused to face the Brazilian and lost her belt. Ultimate recruited Megan anderson, who succeeded Cyborg as Invicta champion, so the two will fight for the vacant title.
