Until the time comes to debut in the ring against one of the greatest boxers of all time, Conor McGregor continues to provoke Floyd Mayweather. The two will only face each other on August 26th, but the Irishman has used social media to try to irritate his opponent. This Tuesday (20), the UFC champion shared an image in which he appears in his gym and, behind, there is a painting of “Notorious” connecting a hard blow to Mayweather.

In the image caption, Conor McGregor, who is wearing normal clothes and has a bad face, only writes that he is a “dirty, Irish animal”. The details of the painting also reveal that the UFC champion must wear green shorts and gloves in the superfight, in honor of Ireland, his country of origin and where he has been training for the duel with Floyd. According to the North American website “Yahoo”, the Irishman's coach, John Kavanagh, was the one who commissioned the painting as a way of motivating his pupil.

PUBLICITY:

Interestingly, the blow that McGregor “connects” with Mayweather in the image is his famous left cross, which has already claimed several victims in Ultimate, including former champions José Aldo and Eddie Alvarez, as well as names like Diego Brandao, Chad Mendes and Dennis Siver.
