If it depends on André Pederneiras, leader of Nova União and main coach of José Aldo, the former featherweight champion already has a defined opponent to fight again. According to Dedé, the expectation is that Aldo will fight again in 2017, preferably against an opponent who is in the top 5 of the under-66kg category. Therefore, the main name highlighted is Cub swanson, 4th on the list.

“We have already started the conversation for the end of the year, we are trying to see the athletes who are better ranked and it will be one of those. It will probably be the Cub swanson.
