Before and during the duel with Henrique Frankenstein, at UFC Auckland last Saturday (10), the Moldovan Ion cutelaba taunted the Brazilian, first refusing to shake his hand at the weigh-in and then intimidating him when the two were in the Octagon. And the strategy worked, as the light heavyweight knocked out the Brazilian in 22 seconds. And, after the fight, Cutelaba kept up the provocations.

“I knew what to expect from myself, I know how strong I am. But I expected that my opponent would stay in the fight a little longer, that the fight would last at least 30 seconds or a minute”, teased Cutelaba, also declaring that he will soon be UFC champion.

“You should save my name because I will be the next UFC light heavyweight champion. I'm still young, I'm only 23, so I still have a lot of time ahead of me. I may be a little inexperienced, but it won't work for anyone. I will be the next UFC champion”, guaranteed the Moldovan, who has 13 wins, three losses and one unsuccessful fight in his professional MMA record.
