After knocking out Derrick Lewis in the main fight of UFC Auckland, held last Saturday (10), Mark Hunt He's already chosen who he'd like to face next. Without hesitation, the New Zealander challenged the former champion Junior Gypsy for a rematch, preferably on the UFC Japan card in September. The two already faced each other in May 2013, and on that occasion the Brazilian emerged victorious by technical knockout.

“I would like to face the Junior Gypsy in Japan. I want to have this rematch. Another possibility would be Alistair Overrem. One of the two would satisfy me,” Mark Hunt, at the press conference following his recent victory.

Although he aims for a second duel against Cigano, Hunt also wants a reckoning with alistair overeem, whom he has already faced twice, being defeated both times. For him, the Dutchman is a 'cheater', recalling Overeem's controversial past with steroid use.

“Overeem will always be a cheater. For me, that's what he will always be. Regardless of him knocking me out, there will always be that cloud of distrust over his head. All of his achievements will be questioned whether they were the result of steroid use or not. So, sorry, Alistair, but you’re a fraud,” Hunt shot back.

At 43 years old, Hunt has, in Ultimate, a record with eight triumphs, five setbacks, one draw and one I didn't answer. The peak of his career in the organization was in 2014, when he competed for the interim heavyweight belt against the Brazilian Fabricio Werdum. At the time, he was knocked out in the second round.
