Mark Hunt, managed to control the pace of the fight at the beginning, putting his boxing technique into play until he reached the knockout in the fourth round.
Explosive as usual, Lewis went all out on Hunt, but the New Zealander showed caution, waited for the North American's momentum to drop and began working on his boxing. With a smaller wingspan, but with much more technique when fighting on the feet, Mark walked forward and threw hard punches at his rival.
Derrick still tried to impose his game at the beginning of the second round, with high kicks and powerful crosses, but Hunt once again cooled his rival's momentum and grew in the second half. Putting his rivals against the bars and landing several punches.
From the third round onwards, fatigue took away all of Lewis' strength. Hunt took advantage of the moment, walked forward, threw punches at his rival's body and scored points.
The outcome of the fight came in the fourth round. With both athletes very tired, Hunt's more refined technique made all the difference. He managed to shake Lewis with two jabs, but it was with a right cross that the path to victory opened. The New Zealander connected punches and just waited for the referee to interrupt to win by technical knockout.
