After victory, Gadelha poses with rival and philosophizes: 'Congratulations to all the athletes'

Brazilian submitted Polish woman in the first round in a fight at UFC 212, but made a point of praising her opponent

The Brazilian Claudia gadelha completely dominated the duel with Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 212 last Saturday (3). After winning on her feet, the strawweight put the fight on the ground and submitted the Polish fighter in the first round. Even so, Claudinha left the fight impressed with Kowalkiewicz and made a point of taking a photo with her opponent, in addition to praising her.

Through social media, the Brazilian shared the image with Karolina, with both smiling, and philosophized, thanking the Polish woman for taking the fight seriously and assured that she will tell her grandchildren about the “battle” with the Polish woman.

For the submission against Karolina, Claudinha, number one in the strawweight ranking, won an extra $50 bonus for Performance of the Night. Besides her, brian kelleher, which ended Iuri Marajó, also received the award. José Aldo e Max Holloway they earned the same amount for Fight of the Night.
