IFL starts season today

The International Fight League (IFL) season starts today, in Las Vegas, United States. The organization promoted many changes for this year, and now has individual fights for belts, in addition to the traditional team competition. The teams were renamed and enter the year with many new faces. In this first event, four Brazilians will be in action inside the ring and one outside.

Leopoldo Serão, Alexandre Cacareco and Rafael Dias will represent the World Class Fight Center gym, led by black belt Zé Mario Sperry, facing Josh Raynes, Lew Polley and Santiago DeFranco, a trio from the Xtreme Couture gym. The other Canarian athlete who will perform is Fabiano Scherner, better known as Pega-Leve.

The new member of Team Quest, who has already fought for the UFC, will debut for the IFL, soon fighting for the heavyweight belt, against the tough title holder, Roy Nelson. Tomorrow on GRACIEMAG.com you will be able to check all the results from tonight.
