Vitor belfort he once again had reasons to celebrate inside the Octagon. After three consecutive defeats, the 'Phenomenon' ended his bad phase by beating Nate Marquardt on the main card of UFC 212, an event held in the early hours of this Sunday (4), in Rio de Janeiro. This was the Brazilian's first victory since November 2015.

The fight was far from being the best of the night, but there were some explosive moments from Vitor, which brought the fans present in the arena to their feet. After 15 even minutes, Belfort was considered the winner by unanimous decision, breaking the taboo of never having won a fight on points in the UFC.
