The Brazilian Glover Teixeira did not come away with victory in the main fight of UFC Sweden last Sunday (28). But the light heavyweight's good performance earned him a fight of the night bonus along with the winner, Alexander Gustafson. After the duel, Glover used social media to publish a video thanking his fans for their support and rebutting critics of his performance.

Still in the video, the Brazilian guarantees that he was 100% prepared and refused to make any excuse for the defeat, and did not blame Gustafsson's finger in the eye in the first round for the setback.
“I gave my best, I trained a lot and I was super well prepared. I couldn't win, but I gave my best. I hurt my hand, got hit and got poked in the eye. In the fifth round my coach said I had to knock him out. I tried and then I got knocked out. But I tried my best. To my friends and fans, thank you very much.
