The devastating victory of Alexander Gustafson about Glover Teixeira last Sunday (28), in the main fight of UFC Sweden, left the Swede close to getting, for the third time, an opportunity to fight for the light heavyweight belt. The category champion will be decided at UFC 214, July 29th, when the rematch between Daniel Cormier e Jon Jones. Sincerely, Gustafsson did not hide his support for DC, and took the opportunity to criticize Bones, whom he judged to be a 'bad person'.

"Jon Jones is my biggest enemy. I do not like him. I think he's the best fighter of all time, and the best pound-for-pound in the world. We all know that he has not yet been defeated, and that he demolishes all his opponents. But as a person and as a champion, he is not the champion and not a good person in my view. I don't hide my support for Cormier, because I like him. He is a real champion”, declared the fighter, in an interview at the post-fight press conference.

Although he admits his preference for Cormier, the Swede assured that he will be ready to face anyone in the pair. For him, the mistakes of the past – he was already defeated by both fighters – made him a better and more prepared fighter.

“I learned a lot in that fight against Anthony Johnson. That wasn't my night, I don't make excuses. Anthony Johnson He's a classic knockout artist, and I was too slow. Against Glover I was almost perfect, who also fought for the belt and gave him trouble Jon Jones. I have to attack first, I have to be in the fight. The level here is very high, and I can't let my opponent take the initiative and attack me first. I don't have to take a hit to start fighting – that blow could end your night. I have to enter the fight and be aggressive from the beginning. I learned this lesson against Anthony Johnson. My problem was with the last rounds. I came very close to winning Jon Jones e Daniel Cormier, but I dropped in performance at the end. I'm not going to die on the beach anymore, that's not going to happen. On Sunday I could have fought ten rounds, and I will be ready for ten rounds when I face Jones or Cormier,” she concluded.
