Battle between Gustafsson and Glover earns 'Fight of the Night' bonus at UFC Sweden

the duel between Alexander Gustafson e Glover Teixeira, the main attraction of UFC Stockholm, was named the “Fight of the Night” of the event held this Sunday (28), in Sweden.

The fight was won by Gustafasson who dominated the Brazilian for four rounds and ended the fight with a technical knockout in the last round. However, Glover's resistance, who managed to put pressure on the Swede in some moments of the fight, despite being severely punished, was also rewarded. Thus, Gustafsson and Teixeira take home a prize of US$50 from Ultimate.

Other highlights of the night were Damir Hadzović and Bojan Velickovic. The Bosnian pulled a rabbit out of the hat by knocking out Marcin Held in the last round and turning the fight around, after losing the previous rounds. Bojan, like Hadzovic, was also at a disadvantage in his fight, but managed to win by knocking out Nicholas Musoke in R3. Both athletes had “Performance of the Night” and also took home US$50 each.
