The witch of injuries has returned to haunt Ultimate. The UFC bantamweight champion, cody garbrandt, suffered a back injury and will not put his title on the line against TJ Dillashaw at UFC 213, August 8, in Las Vegas (USA). The fighter himself confirmed his departure from the show behind a Facebook post.

“No, I’m not going to fight on July 8th. My dream has always been to reach the top, and I want to have longevity,” wrote Cody on his social media page.

Moments after confirming your exit from the fight against TJ Dillashaw, the champion did not fail to provoke his rival, with whom he had several disagreements during the recording of the 25th edition of TUF, the UFC's reality show in the United States.

“A small setback, but don't celebrate, TJ Dillashaw. You still have a beating coming, sooner or later,” added the champion in an Instagram post.
