A few days after Mairbek Taisumov injured and leaving the fight against Netto BJJ at UFC Stockholm, scheduled for May 28th, in Sweden, the organization acted quickly and defined a new opponent for the Brazilian. This is lightweight Reza Madadi. Information about the new fight was released on the Ultimate website itself.

Madadi, 38 years old, has been with the company since 2012, having had six fights. Interestingly, he alternated victories and defeats, accumulating three positive results and two negative results. In his most recent performance, he was surpassed by Joseph Duffy No. UFC London. In Ultimate, he has already faced two Brazilians: he lost to Cristiano Marcello and knocked out Yan Cabral.
Netto, in turn, won the two fights he had in the UFC. His debut was in September 2015, with a points victory over the Argentine Nazareno Malegarie. The second fight was in June last year, when he needed just 34 seconds to knock out Andrew Holbrook. At 28 years old, the TUF Brasil 4 participant has a 100% success record, with nine victories.
The main fight of UFC Stockholm will be between light heavyweights Alexander Gustafson e Glover Teixeira, who measure forces with an eye on the position of challenger in the category. In addition to Netto, the bantamweight Peter Munhoz is also guaranteed on the show: he faces the Polish Damian Stasiak.
