The soap opera involving the future of Georges St Pierre remains undefined, but for Firas Zahabi, the former welterweight champion's main trainer, there are two chapters that have yet to be written. According to Zahabi, there are two opponents who fit the current moment in the Canadian's career: Michael Bisping e Conor McGregor.

“I want Georges to face a fighter who is on the rise. He no longer needs to try to be the welterweight champion, nor defend his belt every three or four months. He's already passed that phase. I don't want to speak for him, but I don't know if this is the lifestyle he wants to go back to. In my opinion, he should face Michael Bisping ou Conor McGregor, and I tell you why. Michael Bisping it would give him the chance to be champion of the second different category; and McGregor would fight him in the biggest fight in UFC history. Apart from these two, I don't believe there is a fight that would be very interesting for him. Maybe Georges has other fights in mind, but the two I'm interested in are these. I see no reason why they shouldn't happen. It may be a matter of time, but they must happen”, he revealed, in an interview with the website 'MMAJunkie'.

Asked why St. Pierre would not face Bisping at UFC 213 in July, as expected by Ultimate, the coach clarified that his pupil could not take action due to USADA exams, the US Anti-Doping Agency.

“I think everyone knows that Georges St-Pierre needs to pass USADA tests. He has to wait until October before he can fight. I think it's very clear, everyone knows that”, declared Firas, who once again defended a fight against Bisping, current middleweight champion.
