The former champion junior gypsy did not perform well in the main fight of UFC 211, an event held this Saturday (13), in Dallas, and ended up being surpassed by his former victim, the Croatian-American Stipe Miocic, current owner of the heavyweight belt. The Brazilian's defeat came via knockout in the first round, contrary to what happened in the first meeting between the two. "My kitchen! I have to return to my home and help my wife. Dallas, you guys were awesome. I’m the best in the world and I’m not stopping anytime soon”, commented the Croatian-American.
The fight
Partner of Joanna Jedrzejczyk on the American Top Team, Cigano seemed to have the same strategy as the Polish woman: investing in low kicks.
