Ultimate took advantage of the UFC 211 ceremonial weigh-in to launch the main fights of its upcoming events and announced fights for the coming months in a press conference. The highlight was the two rematches that will lead UFC 213 and UFC 214. In July, in edition 213, the bantamweight champion Amanda nunes face the challenger Valentina Shevchenko, while at 214, the light heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier, catches the archrival Jon Jones.

The Brazilian revealed that she would like to fight for the featherweight title, but is happy with the chance to beat Shevchenko again. The two faced each other in March last year, with Amanda winning two rounds to Valentina's one.
“If our next fight goes to five rounds, I will win four and she will win one. I will continue as champion. I've already beaten her and I'm going to beat her again, you can believe that. I already cleared this division, to tell you the truth, and after that I would like to try to win another belt. Let's see what happens. On July 8th, I’m going to hit her and ask for this fight”, commented Amanda.
In addition to these two fights, the UFC announced other duels that will serve as main attractions for smaller shows. Cases of Justin gaethje who will face Michael Johnson at the TUF Finale in July, in addition to a middleweight duel Chris Weidman e Kelvin Gastelum, which will be the big fight of the UFC Long Island, on July 25th.
