“Fighting again would be great. I lost my last two fights and I think about those defeats a lot. It would be fun to face my friend Chuck Liddell if he also decides to come out of retirement. It would be a blast. I have a list of who I want to fight. I think I can still be competitive, even if I haven't been training for a few years. Now, I have no interest in facing guys like Tyron woodley ou Jorge masvidal, who are much younger. It would have to be someone close to my age, with similar speed. I still have a lot of strength, but speed and quickness are more difficult aspects to overcome”, declared Hughes, in an interview with the program 'MMA Hour'.

“I would love to go back. In fact, I didn't want to retire. Dana thought this would be best for me and my wife as well. She said she didn't want me to fight anymore and that it wasn't fun to see me getting beaten up inside the octagon. She said she didn’t like this concern, Dana said the same thing and that’s why I retired,” she concluded.
