Light weight Nate diaz once again showed his rebellious side by harshly criticizing the UFC and Conor McGregor in an interview with the program “The MMA Hour”. The American was irritated by the lack of support from Ultimate behind the scenes and complained about his Irish arch-rival, ensuring that he won both fights against him – officially, Nate has one victory by submission and one defeat by decision.

“McGregor has no respect for anyone. That piece of m…. disrespectful. I would beat this guy up in a boxing match. I'm the real two-weight champion, because I beat this guy after he beat Aldo and before he beat Alvarez. Conor is a b….He was beaten and submitted. And in the second fight the decision only went in his favor because that was what the UFC wanted”, said the lightweight.

Diaz also spoke about the fact that all of the UFC's advertising efforts were directed at Conor and also complained about not having received recognition after beating McGregor with less than three weeks to prepare for the first fight between the two, at UFC 196.

“I wanted to be treated with more respect and receive a compliment. Can I be praised for beating up this guy? All the press work I did for the second fight, going on Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmell's talk shows, was all arranged by a publicity company I hired. They (UFC) tried to freeze me and left me to die on the beach. But I will not die (…) Where is Jon Jones? Rousey left and Conor wants to face Floyd Mayweather, so the UFC only has me and Nick (Diaz, his older brother)”, he challenged.
