Participant of the first season of The Ultimate Fighter Brasil, the UFC reality show, Alexandre Sangue was arrested in Portugal accused of drug trafficking. He was detained on Portuguese soil with 2 kg. of cocaine. The information is from the Combate channel website
This is not the first time that Alexandre has had his name linked to problems. In 2009, during Coritiba's relegation to the Second Division of the Brazilian football championship, the fighter was caught in the post-game confusion at Couto Pereira's field. Sangue trained at the Universidade da Luta, the brothers' academy Mauricio Shogun and Murilo Ninja and was expelled after the incident.

A year later, however, Alexandre was reinstated to the UDL on the condition that he disaffiliated from organized Coritiba fans, in addition to working on social projects proposed by the academy and its leaders. Shortly afterwards, he got his chance on TUF Brasil, but ended up eliminated for Hugo Wolverine in the first fight of the competition.
. In his MMA career, Alexandre Sangue he has 10 wins and three losses and is coming off a triumph over Wesley Oliveira, by submission, at Aspera FC in April last year.
