Businessman guarantees McGregor's interest in trilogy with Nate Diaz

The Irishman's agent says, however, that the North American needs to generate interest and remain active to get another fight with his rival

Nate diaz has already declared more than once that he will not return to the octagon unless he is to face Conor McGregor for the third time. After facing the Irishman on two occasions last year, the North American does not intend to face Tony Ferguson for the interim lightweight title, as has been suggested a few times.

However, if he wants a third fight with McGregor, Diaz needs to generate interest and fight again. The guarantor is Audie Attar, manager of the UFC lightweight champion. For the agent, Nate will only be able to face his client again if he remains active and even suggested a possible opponent for the North American.

“The trilogy with Nate diaz interests Conor. Nate has been inactive, but you have to cheer McGregor up. If you want Conor to warm up to you, you have to fight. A fight that makes sense right now is Tony Ferguson x Nate diaz for the interim lightweight title. Especially, if the fight with Floyd comes out, you should encourage Conor so that he returns to the UFC to face him”, pondered Attar, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

While Nate demands a third duel with McGregor, the Irishman continues negotiating his migration to professional boxing to face multi-champion Floyd Mayweather in a superfight that is expected to break all pay-per-view package sales records. According to Attar, the duel is close to being made official.
