Brave Combat Federation had its fifth edition played this Sunday (23), in Mumbai, India. Of the ten fights fought, three involved Brazilians, but the country's fighters did not have a good night: Only Amazonian Erick Índio Brabo left the fighting area with his arm raised.

Erick Índio Brabo da Silva, disciple of Marcelo Brigadeiro at Astra Fight Team, dominated the fight against the dangerous Dutch striker Brian Hooi. Using takedowns and his pressure game from above, the Brazilian achieved an important victory by split decision in the lightweight duel.

On the other hand, Paulo Bananada faced Alejandro Martínez on the main card and, after a disputed first round, he ended up being knocked out in the second round, despite protesting against the referee. It was the Brazilian's first appearance in the Brave cage.

In the third most important fight of the night, Alex Leko lost his unbeaten record against Poland's Jakub Kowalewicz. Also representing Astra Fight Team, the Brazilian featherweight had good moments in the fight, but Kowalewicz's takedowns impressed the side judges, who gave the Polish two rounds.

The two main fights ended by decision. In a duel that defined India's main MMA fighter, Gurdarshan Mangat overcame Abdul Muneer, while in the main event, Englishman Carl Booth achieved his second victory in Brave against Tahar Hadbi.
