Conor McGregor reacted to Dana White interview about his fight with Floyd Mayweather in your own way. Upon learning that the UFC president had estimated that he would earn US$75 million if the fight went ahead, the Irishman countered his boss and assured that this was a conservative projection. Conor believes he will earn more than $100 million to face the multi-time boxing champion in a ring.

“How does $75 million make you feel? In fact, it's more than $100 million if we take into account the non-conservative numbers that this fight will actually make and that doesn't include my bonuses and commercial agreements”, commented McGregor, through a post on his official Instagram.
When explaining the logic behind the estimated numbers, Dana White had said that it all depended on how much the fight sold. Clearly, the UFC president and the lightweight champion have different expectations. Dana is more conservative, while McGregor is certain that pay-per-view sales for his duel with Floyd Mayweather will break records.
“I think we close out the McGregor side in the next two days. Then I lock myself in a room with Team Mayweather for a few days and we'll see what we can do. (The purse) Depends on how much this fight sells. And, if the fight sells as well as I think it can, Floyd will earn over US$100 million (around R$315 million) and Conor will receive US$75 million (R$236 million)”, commented Dana to TV show, “The Herd.”
