Ultimate recently confirmed that the intention is for Jon Jones returns from his suspension fighting directly for the light heavyweight title he lost outside the Octagon, after problems with the North American police. After new problems with authorities, this time having been accused of doping, the former champion has not yet decided whether he will fight other opponents before facing arch-rival Cormier.

Manuwa earned his credentials after knocking out his last two opponents: Ovince St Preux, at UFC 204, in October last year and Corey anderson No. UFC London, from March this year.
