Former lightweight champion, Dos Anjos already dreams of a title in the new division

The Brazilian will make his first welterweight fight in June, at UFC Singapore, against Tarec Saffiedine

Even without officially debuting as a UFC welterweight, Rafael Dos Anjos already aiming for the top of the division. The former lightweight champion guarantees that moving up a category does not mean that he has given up on a new race for the belt. On the contrary, the Brazilian believes in his ability and sees himself with good possibilities in the new category.

Dos Anjos faces Tarec saffiedine, former Strikeforce weight champion and current world number 11 at welterweight. The duel takes place at UFC Singapore on June 17th.

For Dos Anjos, the change of category was forced by the difficulty in making the lightweight division. In the new division, the Brazilian believes he will perform better and intends to put his well-known pressure game into practice against Saffiedine, even to send a message to the rest of the UFC's welterweights.
