Video: Away from UFC, Ronda Rousey lives as a prisoner in a TV series

Still without defining her future in MMA, former UFC champion continues to dedicate herself to her artistic career

With the return to the octagon increasingly distant, Ronda Rousey continues to dedicate himself to his artistic career. Cast in the second season of the TV series “Blindspot”, where a violent gang member plays, the former UFC women's bantamweight champion was seen with a smiling face and exuding good humor behind the scenes of the recording.

If the blonde's career on the small screen is going well, the same cannot be said when it comes to MMA. After being knocked out in just 48 seconds by Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, last December, Ronda's future in the sport remains undefined. Dana White, president of the UFC, recently stated that she believes Rousey has 'hung up her gloves'.

Ronda Rousey She was one of the pioneers of women's MMA, having been instrumental in women's entry into the UFC. Before her, Dana White himself had commented that Ultimate would never allow fights between women in the octagon. With the arrival of the Olympic bronze medalist to the sport, the manager changed his mind and decided to include the bantamweight division. Ronda won her first 12 fights, submitting or knocking out all of her opponents. At the end of 2015, she lost her UFC belt to Holly holm and, a year later, came the defeat to Amanda.
