UFC Kansas weigh-in: Brazilian provocation and excessive respect

The 26 fighters that make up UFC Kansas came face to face with their opponents, this Friday (14), for the last clashes before the event, which takes place on Saturday (15), starting at 17pm (Brasília time). Just like the official weigh-in, where no one failed to make weight, the ceremony for the public had few incidents, with most fighters showing a lot of respect. Including in the main fight, between the flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and the Brazilian Wilson reis, who greeted each other. After the face-off, both DJ and Wilson said they were ready to make history.

The only major moment of tension occurred in the face-off between the Brazilian Renato Moicano and North American of Mexican descent Jeremy Stephens. More experienced than Moicano, Stephens tried to intimidate him with sunglasses, and then stared him down, in addition to provoking him with words and insults.
