Ultimate will have to 'open its wallet' if it wants to continue with one of the best fighters on its roster. This because Ronaldo Jacare, 3rd placed in the middleweight rankings, will have the last fight of his contract this Saturday, when he faces Robert whittaker at UFC Kansas, in the United States. According to Gilberto Faria, the fighter's manager, the Brazilian, although he intends to renew with the organization, will also study proposals from other companies.

"We're working. We haven't reached an agreement on his value, but we will continue to talk after the fight. Our goal is to reach a new agreement soon. The UFC middleweight belt is Jacaré’s goal, with a good contract, we will continue to face other talents in the category and win the title shot”, revealed Faria, in an interview with the program ‘The MMA Hour’ (USA)
Jacaré, 37 years old, has been in the UFC since 2013, and has had eight fights in the franchise, with seven wins and just one loss. His most recent appearance was at UFC 208 in February, when he defeated Tim Boetsch via submission.
