After provocation, champion Cormier attacks Jon Jones: 'Cialis boy'

Cormier did not forgive the former champion, who had called him 'dirty' for the controversial weigh-in. It even left for Jimi Manuwa

The champion Daniel Cormier he didn't hold his tongue after defending his light heavyweight title at UFC 210 last Saturday (8) against Anthony Johnson. Mainly when referring to the arch-rival, Jon Jones, who had criticized him for his stance at the official weigh-in. DC would have leaned on the towel covering his private parts to take off a few pounds of weight.

Jones then said that what the enemy did was “one of the dirtiest things he had ever seen in sports.” At the post-UFC 210 press conference, when asked about what “Bones” said, Cormier didn't hold back and attacked his rival, remembering his problem with USADA, which removed him from the main fight of UFC 200, in July last year.

“It’s like you took a table and put kitchen utensils on it. At one end there is a pot and at the other there is a kettle. And the pot starts screaming “you’re dirty” while sitting there with a steroid needle. That's my opinion on it. You sit there with your Cialis or whatever you call it, and attack the kettle. Stay in detention, Cialis boy,” Cormier snapped, talking about the erectile dysfunction drug that Jones claims he used to fail a drug test.

And DC didn't let it go, not even for Jimi Manuwa, another possible opponent. The Englishman, who is coming off victories over Ovince Saint-Preux and Corey anderson, was present at UFC 210 and exchanged provocations with Cormier shortly after the end of the main fight. When asked about a possible duel between the two, the champion said it would “demoralize” Manuwa.

PUBLICITY:

“He’s a tough guy, he hits hard. I like his “one hit, one kill” thing. Sounds cool. But Jimi Manuwa can't do anything to me. Jimi Manuwa would be lucky to last 10 minutes. Seven minutes. I would demoralize him. He won a few fights in a row and looked impressive. I think he's a good fighter, but it depends on what they do with Jones. If Jones wants to fight someone first, then that's what they'll do. If he is ready to fight me, we will fight,” he signed off.
