In a bad phase, heavyweight Travis Browne has the rope around his neck and will try to get rid of it at UFC 213, which takes place on July 8, in Las Vegas. At the time, the ex-champion's boyfriend Ronda Rousey will face Aleksei Oleinik, who has only four fights in Ultimate, with three wins and one loss – coming off a triumph over Viktor Pesta. Browne has lost his last three fights, to Cain Velásquez, Fabricio Werdum e Derrick Lewis. Even so, it remains ranked, in ninth position. Oleinik, in turn, is in 14th position, having recently lost a place to Marcin tybura. The American came close to a title fight when he was on a winning streak in 2014, but he ran into Werdum (last year's defeat was a rematch). After the first setback for the Brazilian, Browne began to alternate victories and defeats until reaching his current negative streak.
UFC 213 has already had two other fights scheduled, one of them in the same division as Browne and Oleinik. Former North American executioner, Fabricio Werdum will face the Dutchman for the third time alistair overeem – each has a victory over the other. Additionally, former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler returns to the octagon to face Donald Cerrone. The main attraction of the night has not yet been announced by Ultimate.
