The Brazilian Glover Teixeira will have a great challenge in his next fight. He goes to Sweden to face the local idol Alexander Gustafson, in the main attraction of UFC Stockholm, on May 28th. Despite facing one of the main names among light heavyweights, Glover does not see himself as an underdog, even after the crushing defeat to Anthony Johnson in his penultimate fight.

“With my age and the loss to Johnson… I didn’t show enough. You know the world of fights, you have a good performance and everyone thinks you are ready, that you will win the title and become the champion. You lose and everyone starts to doubt you, so from my point of view I don't feel like an underdog (against Gustafsson). He's a tough fighter, I've always respected him. (…) I always watched him, from the beginning, even before I joined the UFC because I knew that sooner or later we would face each other”, argued Glover, in an interview with the North American website MMA Junkie.

This Thursday, the Brazilian had his first direct contact with his next opponent, who was also the victim of Anthony Johnson, at the beginning of 2015. The two were present at a press conference in Sweden and had a quick look, with a lot of respect and greetings after posing for press photos that covered the event.
