Another important fighter on the UFC roster has left the organization for Bellator. McDonald, 26 years old, had been in Ultimate since 2011, having nine fights, with six wins and three losses. In 2013, after scoring four consecutive victories, he received the opportunity to compete for the interim bantamweight belt against Renan Barao, but was finished in the fourth round. Since then, Mayday, as he is known, suffered from injuries and only played four more times, accumulating two positive results and two negative results. In his most recent fight, he was knocked out by John Lineker in July 2016.
