The UFC arrives in London this Saturday (18) for its first European event of 2017 with a duel of promising light heavyweights in the main fight. Englishman Jimi Manuwa returns to fight at home against the American Corey anderson in a duel that could catapult the winner close to the top of the category.

Manuwa, who knocked out the former challenger for the interim belt Ovince St Preux at UFC 204 (also held in England), he arrives full of morale for the fight, with the victory over OSP guaranteeing him fourth place in the light heavyweight rankings. Corey anderson, number 6 in the rankings, recovered from defeat to the Brazilian Mauritius Shogun at UFC 198, in Curitiba, when he defeated Sean O'Connell by knockout, in December last year.
In the second most important fight of the night, Alan Jouban faces Gunnar Nelson, training partner of Conor McGregor, in a welterweight duel. The fight promises to be a contrast of styles, with Jouban's standing strength colliding with Icelandic Nelson's refined jiu-jitsu.
Brazil will have two representatives at the event: Vincent Luque and Francimar Bodão. Also at welterweight, Luque faces Leon edwards, home fighter. Bodão now takes revenge against Darren stewart – in the first confrontation between the two, the Englishman involuntarily headbutted the Brazilian in the face and soon after knocked him out, as the referee did not see the infraction. Francimar filed an appeal and the fight ended up being unsuccessful.
All 24 athletes who make up the event will participate in the official weigh-in this Friday (17). Starting at 14pm (Brasília time), the weights of each fighter will be announced, in addition to the always intriguing official looks before the duel. SUPER FIGHTS broadcasts everything live!
