“You have me and Anthony Johnson, Jones, when he comes back, and Gustafsson. But I just don't know if the rest of the guys can compete these days. For me, I don't even think about those guys. I planned my next three fights. I'm going to beat Anthony, then I'm going to win Jon Jones and then I'll beat Jones again. This way I will have achieved everything I wanted in my MMA career”, commented DC on the “MMA Junkie Radio” program.

Interestingly, Cormier has already faced the three names he mentioned. DC lost to Jones in early 2015 and beat Johnson and Gustafsson in the same year, becoming world champion over “Rumble”, after Jon Jones having lost the title outside the octagon, due to problems with the North American justice system.
