Relentless, Mauritius Shogun didn't give a chance Gian Villante and scored his third consecutive victory by knocking out the North American in the third round of the fight. Number 6 in the light heavyweight rankings, the triumph could put the Curitiba native on the path to possible next challengers for the belt.
Pushed by the crowd, Shogun had a safe and aggressive performance from the first round. After shaking his opponent on a few occasions, the Brazilian managed to settle the score in the last round, after connecting a good combination of blows on the North American.
