After the statement from his physical trainer, Rafael Alejarra, Wanderlei Silva confirms his interest in fighting in the UFC's under-84kg category. Wand further states that if Dan Henderson beat your friend Anderson Silva, at UFC-82, he had moved down a category to try for a rematch against the American.
“The struggle of Anderson Silva against Dan Henderson that it will be a great fight and if there is an upset of the Dan Henderson If I win, I wouldn't think twice about dropping weight to fight him. Respect aside, I've been holding it back since our last fight, as I wasn't having one of my best days at that time,” said the Brazilian.
“I'm seriously thinking about changing my category here in the UFC because I'm very short and the average athlete here is 1,90cm, at the moment I'm only 1,80”, he added.
