UFC light heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier, got angry with the promotional poster for his next title defense and took advantage of the opportunity to provoke his challenger, Anthony Johnson. The two face each other in the main fight of UFC 210, which takes place on April 8, in Buffalo, New York. Cormier was upset with the emphasis given to Johnson, who in the photo on the poster appears larger than DC himself, in theory, the big name of the event and who already beat Johnson, by submission, at UFC 187, in 2015.

" What is that? How many favors did “Rumble” have to call in for this sh*t to happen? I just want to remind you that the last time the challenger appeared this big on an official poster, Rafael dos Anjos knocked out Donald Cerrone in the first round,” Cormier commented on his Instagram.

The UFC champion was referring to the UFC Florida poster from December 19, 2015. At the time, the Brazilian Rafael Dos Anjos, then lightweight champion, made his first title defense in a rematch with Donald Cerrone. Just like Johnson, the Cowboy appeared more prominently than the belt owner. The duel between Dos Anjos and Cerrone ended in less than two minutes. The Brazilian kicked the American in the ribs and, after a series of punches, knocked him out. Cormier wants history to repeat itself. Another poster that had the same theme was that of UFC 158 – with the challenger Nick Diaz having more prominence than the former champion Georges St Pierre. In this fight, the belt owner also got the upper hand, as GSP beat Diaz by unanimous decision.
