UFC Fortaleza will feature a duel between world jiu-jitsu champions. The Brazilian Davi ramos was called up at the last minute and will replace Max griffin against compatriot Serginho Moraes, in the preliminary portion of the event, which takes place on March 11th in the capital of Ceará. The information is from the Combate channel website. Davi has been fighting MMA since 2010, but had a three-year gap between his first and second fights. In total, he has six wins and one loss on his professional record in the sport.

He was champion of the ADCC, the biggest grappling event, in 2015, in the under-77 kg division, in addition to having won the World Cup in his weight and in the absolute. UFC Fortaleza will have as its main attraction a middleweight duel between the former light heavyweight champion Vitor belfort and the promising Kelvin Gastelum. Other prominent names in Brazilian MMA at the UFC will also feature at the event, such as Mauritius Shogun (which takes Gian Villante), Edson Barboza (faces Beneil Dariush) to Jussier formiga (duels with Ray Borg).
