The fight between Tyron woodley e Stephen Thompson It didn't excite the public, but it divided opinions. The main fight of UFC 209, valid for the welterweight belt, was cold, with little action and the decision was in the hands of the judges. At the end of five rounds, the decision went to Woodley with a majority (48-47, 47 -47, 48-47). But for Dana White, president of the franchise, the belt should have changed hands.

Dana spoke about the duel without much emotion and that he disagreed with the judges' decision. For the UFC boss, Stephen Thompson won the dispute.

“I said last week, 'Did you guys see the first fight? How could the rematch not be good?'. I think I made a mistake. I had given three rounds to two for the other side (Thompson), one of the judges gave it 10x8 in the last round and that obviously changes the score”, declared the director.

Woodley and Thompson faced each other for the first time at UFC 205 in November. The fight was electrifying, full of alternations and the dispute ended in a draw. In the rematch, held last Saturday (04), in Las Vegas, the expectation was for a new duel full of emotion. But the emotionless fight disappointed the public.
