Former TUF Brazil and LFA champion Leandro Higo signs with Bellator

Brazilian participated in the fourth and final edition of TUF Brasil and is undefeated in eight fights, without losing since 2012

The Brazilian Leandro Higo is Bellator's new bantamweight reinforcement. The information is from the MMA Fighting website. The champion of Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA), the combination of two of the biggest North American regional events (RFA and Legacy), signed an exclusive contract with the second largest promotion in the world and is expected to debut soon. Soon you can challenge the winner of Dudu Dantas and Darrion Caldwell, who are competing for the bantamweight title, currently held by Dantas. In addition to holding the 61 kg belt. from LFA, Higo is known for his time on TUF Brasil 4, the UFC's last reality show recorded only with Brazilian athletes.

On the program, Higo entered the house thanks to a victory over Maycon Silvan by katagatame in the first round. He ended up being chosen by the Anderson Silva, which was later managed by the Nogueira brothers, Minotauro and Minotouro. However, Higo had a short life in the competition and lost in the first round to Bruno Korea, being finished with a rear naked choke. He had the chance to fight again, but was unable to due to an injury.

Outside of TUF, the Pitbull Brothers athlete (who trains with Patricio and Patricy Pitbull and Bethe Correia) remade his career in the United States, becoming RFA champion. When the promotion joined Legacy, Higo won the LFA belt with a decision victory over Steven Peterson, who owned the Legacy bantamweight title. With 17 wins and just two defeats in his professional record, the Brazilian has won eight in a row and has not lost since 2012.
