Bisping 'asks' to fight GSP, but guarantees he will accept other challengers

The UFC middleweight champion, Michael Bisping, became known for being a champion who prioritizes fights for money over fights with challengers who deserved the chance to fight for his belt. In an interview for Ultimate's official podcast, UFC Unfiltered, the Englishman once again showed this trend, asking for a fight against Georges St Pierre, even though he admitted that he will face the main challenger in the category, who is currently Yoel romero, if the UFC prefers it.

“If they offer me the number one challenger, I will face him. If they offer me Georges St-Pierre, I would be a fool not to accept. Obviously I would fight him. I think it would be a bad fight for him, as he returns after more than three years. Of course he is very physical, but the hardest part about fighting him is doubting yourself. Now, I think coming back after more than three years, moving up a category and facing me is a bad idea for GSP. But if he wants to try, God bless him,” said Bisping.

The fight against the Englishman has at least one defender among those closest to the former Canadian champion. Back in the octagon after more than three years of retirement, GSP still has no defined opponent, but his coach Firas Zahabi likes the idea of his pupil returning against Bisping or Conor McGregor.
