the journey of Conor McGregor to the United States has been quite productive. The UFC lightweight champion traveled to Las Vegas and California to train and open negotiations for the much talked about superfight with Floyd Mayweather, which would be in boxing. Even though the parties have not reached an agreement, the Irishman continues with his frenetic pace of training, this time focused solely on the noble art.

To show that he is taking the challenge of fighting one of the greatest boxers in history seriously, McGregor posted a video with “The Mac Life”, a type of vlog that details his steps, where he appears training boxing in a gym in California. Despite not having done any sparring for the cameras, McGregor appears warming up, taking photos with local boxers, and doing movement training with the aid of a bag.
Although negotiations are indeed taking place, both Floyd and Conor have been exchanging barbs in the press and on social media. The American denied that the duel had already been agreed and said that McGregor needed to settle things with the UFC and, in the meantime, he remained retired. Upon arriving in Las Vegas, the Irishman countered Mayweather by saying that his mere presence in the North American city was enough for the former boxer to “retire again”.
