UFC featherweight champion, José Aldo will have the opportunity to unify the title against Max Holloway, owner of the division's interim belt. The two will face each other at UFC 212, on June 3, in Rio de Janeiro. If it depends on the Hawaiian, however, who will walk away with the crown of best fighter under 66 kg. of the world he will be, and not the “king” José Aldo.

Nor the fact that Aldo has already defended his title three times in Rio, with victories over Chad Mendes (twice) and Chan sung jung, Holloway discourages. The interim champion guarantees that, as “king” of the division, he will go to the reign of another “king” and take the place, beating the Brazilian in his own home.

“This is what kings do. Kings go to other kings' kingdoms and take control of the place. That's what they do and that's what I planned to do on June 3rd. I'm going out there and I'm going to show everyone why I'm a king. And what better place to do it than in your backyard, in your own kingdom?” Holloway asked the “Submission Radio” program.

Max Holloway won the interim featherweight title by knocking out Anthony Pettis in the main fight of UFC 206, in December last year. In total, the Hawaiian has 10 consecutive victories, the longest undefeated streak of all time in the Ultimate category. Among his main triumphs are the submission over Cub swanson and the knockouts over Charles Oliveira and Pettis himself, as well as decision successes over Ricardo Lamas and Jeremy Stephens.
