Brock Lesnar notifies the UFC of his new retirement from MMA

Former heavyweight champion left MMA again after one fight on his return after almost five years away from the Octagon

the american Brock Lesnar retired from MMA again after officially notifying the UFC that he no longer intended to compete in the sport, thus no longer being on the list of athletes who can be tested by USADA. Currently, the former Ultimate heavyweight champion is serving a one-year suspension for having been caught in an anti-doping test after his victory over Mark Hunt at UFC 200. After the arrest, the duel with Hunt ended without a winner, with the fight officially being a no contest. The information is from the “MMA Fighting” website.

The former champion's first retirement took place after the defeat to alistair overeem at UFC 141. Suffering from diverticulitis, Lesnar was no longer able to train properly and decided to return to WWE, where he remained part of the event, even during his preparation to face Hunt.

Lesnar was the North American wrestling champion in college, but became famous as a member of the WWE. After leaving the professional wrestling ring, he decided to test himself in MMA and, after one fight, he was hired by the UFC. In Ultimate, Brock became heavyweight champion after knocking out the legendary Randy Couture at UFC 91, but lost the belt to Cain Velazquez at UFC 121, two years later. He ends his career with a record of five wins, three losses and one unsuccessful fight.
