Ultimate announces seven-fight package for UFC Nashville in April

Ultimate announced a package with seven fights for the UFC Nashville, which will take place on April 22, in the United States. One of the fights involves a Brazilian: the carioca Thales leites face Sam alvey, in a duel valid for the middleweight category (up to 84kg). The main fight of the event will be between featherweights Cub swanson Artem Lobov, training partner of Conor McGregor.

Thales is not going through a good phase in the organization, having lost three of his last four fights. The last time he stepped into the Octagon was in UFC Sao Paulo, in November 2016, when he was beaten in the decision by Krzysztof Jotko. Before, he had submitted Chris Camozzi, recovering from the defeats he suffered against Michael Bisping e Gegard Mousasi. Alvey, in turn, has four consecutive victories, the most recent over Nate Marquardt, in January.

The other five clashes announced were: lightweight, To the fifth faces Diego Sanchez, and scott holtzmann fight with Michael McBride; at flyweight, Hector Sandoval faces Matt schnell, and Dustin Ortiz catches Brandon Moreno, and, by strawweight, Jessica penne measures forces with Danielle Taylor.
